Last time they told me on Thursday more concrete will be poored.

So I went up the mountain, to find this truck.

I had to wait untill the next truck would come.

Yes they have to drive backwards for quite a bit on the mountain.

That’s some nice equipment in actio, right?

A few days I noticed that the color-coded-pole where in the woods… thus I wanted to follow them further.

Almost at the top… but where are the “red”-poler?

Aha, so uphill and downhill goes not parrallel all the way up/down the mountain, the downpart follows at the treeline 1 of the skislopes down.

Top of the other skislope, they cleared a bit of woods, because there will be build a second system to bring people back up the mountain. But when that will be build is unknown to me. It will be a system that’s used in those indoor-ski-places a lot.

The building that will house the “Alpine Coaster”

So all concrete must be done now… or is it?

Next time most likely more information on how the Wieli-track ( http://www.wiegandslide.com/wieli.html ) goes.

I was hoping to see some concrete being poored, but I was too late.. later this week I have a new chance.

As one can see only parts of the foundations where made, rest will follow…?

It still looks like a ski-jump, don’t you think?

That goes very fast indeed, wow !

The special parts where in place allready.

Now from the “Alpine Coaster” there are several “parts”… part from a lift ( > 60% of length ) and 2 downhillparts, and this small part. Where all the foundations are being made comes a very neat and complex part of the track… stay tuned.

When I walked back down I noticed.

Does somebody remember those?

Yes those marked out where the “Alpine Coaster” was going to be build, “blue” for uphillpart, “red” for downhill.

Some bridge kind of work has to be done here?

So what will that be?

Well fromth compagny that builds the “Alpine Coaster” will come a second “ride”, this time also on tracks, but not as a “Coaster-ride” but a way to get up and down from the mountain. It’s called Wieli from Wiegand ( http://www.wiegandslide.com/wieli.html ) . There are allready a few of these in operation, as far as I have seen the one here will be a parralel down/up track, there’s one build with a downhilltrack that makes several curves.

1 pole has both red and blue, that will be the beginning of the uphillpart, the downhill part bends into the woods in the back to make a cirkel back to the front.

Soon more?

A “big” jump in time, why? Well not very much has been done last week. Firstly there where only 3 working days, on Thursday was “Bankholiday” and the wether was so-so.

I saw somethinh extra “sticking” out of the mountain, that made me curious.

The lifthill of the “Alpine Coaster” got a bit longer.

Last time they build the brige.

The ramp was part of one of the many mountainbike-downhill-runs.

Each time a new part is added to the lifthill, they look if it is still straight.

In the back, the building that will be used to store the vehicles from the “Alpine Coaster”, the other foundation will house the place where you pay for your ride.

It must be intresing to see something being build.

Thanks guys, it’s a nice pose..

They told me the foundations will be made real soon.

Some special parts?

I don’t think this week will go by without a further update, stay tuned.

Photo number 100, and the first close to real-time entry here.

How far is the build?

So more concrete foundations will come shortly, I then followed the track because of some sounds/noise came from the woods.

And that was the sound, the weldings where being made smooth.

The lifthill is really high of ground, because they are building a bridge over a service-road.

Mooncraters? or … no, even more foundations… wow… what will come here?

The bridge, a 2nd bridge will come too… stay tuned.

With the nets in place it looks more “full”

“Smile, you’re on candid camera” !

The weldingmachine made it the the 2nd part.

Currently there are 3 track sections build… a liftpart ( to the bridge ) and 2 downhill parts, where the bridge is there need to come more downhill-track… even including a bridge.

And I was back at the beginning.

Soon more to come?…

The day before I saw a truck on the mountain to do concrete foundations.

So indeed some foundations have been made.

Hahnenklee gets a skijumparea? 😉

It’s nice when downhilltrack and lift “meet” each other this close.

More foundations

The former skislope, now the domain of the steel-“eel”.

Now the real welds are being made, the other welding was just to secure it… this tool is used to really “glue” all metal together.

This is where it all starts and ends, the station of the Alpine Coaster.

I would advice them to build a photopoint inside the little house to sell off “on-ride”-photos.

But right now the stairs to this little “house” are broken.

More and further updates will be much closer to “real”-time… perhaps even later this week, stay tuned.

Only 2 days have passed… but

A lot of progress has been made.

Yes it straight…

Special for that person… and no… no € 500 can be earned 😉 really ! 😉

They have reached the summit?

That’s a big hole.

I think some more digging will take place.

Soon more to come…

In the woods a steel “snake” becomes it’s “shape”

A lot of work goes into this all.

Yes it crosses the old skislope a few times.

Soon more?
